Isaiah is here!

my little guy finally made his appearance!!lol

Born: 10.16.08
7 lbs 13 oz.
20 3/4 in. long

Labor story:

On wednesday 10/15 all day i was having some mild peroid-like cramps.
during the day i took several small walks around my neighborhood, trying to spark something.. but i was losing hope because all i got was very bad back and leg pain and some more cramps.. by 6pm the cramps started gettin pretty bad and i noticed they were getting closer together..they were about ten minutes apart.


they got worse through the night i didn't sleep at all! around 4 a.m. they were 5 min apart and really strong to where they made me cry:( so Shawn took me to L&D .. when i got there they checked me and i was only 2 cm but definately having strong contractions.
the nurse left to go get the doctor so they could talk to me then send me home.

next thing i know im having a Very strong contraction and 5 doctors and 2 anesthesiologists(sp) run in the room putting an oxygen mask on my face and rushing putting an i.v in my arm!! i was balling! i was feaking out so bad, because i didnt know what was going on. and no one would tell me! i was pissed!

Turns out baby's heart rate kept dropping dramatically when i had the strong contractions.

long story short : they thought i was gonna have to have a emergency c-section but i didnt!

around 1:00 pm they gave me my epidural
1:30 pm they broke my water (i was 6 cm)
10:00 pm i was 10 cm my epi was completely worn off .:(
i was in alot of pain 10:01 pm i started pushing 10:48 pm HE was out!

i love my boy!!! hes so sweet and content like alll the time..lol hardly cries:)
